Many attractions in Paraguay can be visited independently. However, local knowledge, up-to-date information on road conditions, and personal recommendations often help make the experience more enjoyable, efficient, and stress-free.

For most destinations, a standard passenger car is sufficient. After periods of heavy rainfall, however, some rural roads may become more challenging to navigate. We are happy to provide current local information before your trip.

Ybytyruzú National Park, Salto Suizo, Salto Cristal, and many other natural areas throughout the Guairá region offer excellent opportunities for hiking, wildlife observation, and nature photography.

The Iguazú Falls are located approximately 260 kilometres from Waldhaus Eden. Depending on traffic, border procedures, and the chosen route, travel time is usually between four and five hours.
Many visitors combine the trip with an overnight stay in the Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú area to explore the falls at a relaxed pace. While a day trip from Mbocayaty is technically possible, we generally do not recommend it.
